Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress: The Gathering Light- Anime Review

As I have watched the Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress TV series, when it was airing on Japan TV way back in 2016, I thought that I would review this movie, of this anime series. As I’m a big Mumei fan, I thought that this anime had fantastic action scenes, and steam punk weapons. As this movie is basically part one of a compilation film of the TV series of Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress, IMO this movie is still fun stuff IMO. I thought that the back story of Ikoma was interesting, as Ikoma’s sister died by a Kabaneri. I thought that the Kabaneri hybrid colony was interesting, and I thought that the way that the Kabaneri hybrid colony gets defeated was intense and interesting IMO. As I’m a fan of insert songs in my anime that I consume, I thought that the insert song playing when Ikoma tries not to become a Kabaneri, was a moment I enjoyed heaps. Overall, I thought that this was a solid compilation movie, showcasing the strengths of this anime series, which are action, plot and setting development.
