Future State: Robin Eternal (Issue 1+2) - Review

As I’m a fan of the DC couple Tim Drake and Stephanie Brown, I thought that I would do a short and to the point review, of the two-part issue of Robin Eternal. Firstly, I would have to say that I liked Stephanie Brown’s character design in this two-part issue, with an eye patch over her left eye, and also having short hair. Tim Drake’s character design for this two-part issue, is that Tim has no cowl over his head, which allows the reader IMO to see Tim Drake’s facial expressions. This two-part storyline has Tim Drake and Stephanie Brown fighting a robot called The Magistrate. Despite Tim Drake and Stephanie Brown facing overwhelming odds, the odds are too much for this duo, as The Magistrate breaks Tim Drake’s neck in a bath of Lazarus Resin.

As Tim Drake would normally be dead from this injury by the robot The Magistrate, the Lazarus resin that Tim Darke gets bathed in as his neck is broken, is liquid siphoned from the Lazarus pit, by the League of Assassins. Tim Drake bath in the Lazarus Resin makes Tim Drake stronger and faster, then he has have been. Tim Drake manages to complete his objective in this two-part comic book, by crashing a train convoy into the Gotham River, thus completing his goal. Tim Drake completes his objective, while fighting Peace Keeper 13 on the train convoy. As I’m a big fan of both Tim Drake and Stephanie Brown, I enjoyed these two-part issues a lot and would recommend this short comic-book issues to fans of Tim Drake and Stephanie Brown.
