Robin: Teenage Wasteland-TPB Review

This TPB from DC continues the adventures of Tim Drake. I thought that the character development between Tim and Zoanne in this TPB was interesting. I kind of feel sorry for Zoanne in this TPB, as she really likes Tim Drake, but his extracurricular activities, gets in Tim Drake’s way to have a proper boyfriend and girlfriend relationship. When Tim Drake crosses the path of Dodge in this TPB, I can understand why Tim Darke is willing to train Dodge to be a superhero. Dodge gets his powers from a device from his dad’s research lab, where Dodge’s power is to teleport to short distances. Dodge eventually bites off more than he can chew in this TPB, as it’s not long before he ends up in hospital, due to his own careless and lack of fighting experience. I thought that the plot point of Strader working for Zoanne’s father, is a plot point I thought was a bit to convenient for me. Overall, I thought that this TPB was solid, and I can’t wait to read more of Tim Drake’s adventures.
