Dog Man - Movie Review
As I’m a fan of animation in general, I thought that I would check out DreamWorks latest offering. As I don’t know anything about the original material of Dog Man, I had a good time with this movie. The plot of Dog Man revolves around a police officer and his faithful police dog, and they get hurt in the line of duty. The nurses get a lightbulb moment, where they fuse the dog’s head, onto the body of the police officer, and thus Dog Man is born. Dog Man’s archenemy is Petey the cat, and thus a cat and mouse game between these characters begin. I thought that the direction of this movie was good, with a wide variety of direction techniques, that only could be used with 3DCG animation. I would say that this movie is a family film, with some course language, animated violence, and mild themes. I do want to kindly mention that there is an animation sequence in the end credits scene, and post credit scene. Overall, I thought that this movie was solid, and I’m glad to say that this movie is another solid movie from DreamWorks.
