Touch Movie 1: The Numberless Ace - Anime Review

As I’m a fan on this anime series, I thought that I would review this movie. First off, the Touch movies series are non-canon. This movie opens with black and white stills, that look like storyboards. As I’m a fan of insert songs in anime that I watch, there’s three in this movie. I thought that the insert songs in this movie, elevated the various scenes.

As this movie is non-cannon, I thought that the way Tatsuya ends up in the boxing club, was interesting. I thought that the flashback scene of Uesugi and Tatsuya wearing jumpers with wearing a letter of their names, was interesting to me, as I bet Tatsuya’s and Uesugi parents did this, so that they don’t confuse their two twin sons. Overall, I thought that this non-canon movie was okay, but there was a lot of material cut to make this movie, from the TV series.
