Detective Conan: Movie 2 The Fourteenth Target - Anime Review

As I’m a late bloomer of the Detective Conan franchise, I thought that I would watch more Detective Conan movies. This Detective Conan movie deals with Ran’s family, namely Ran’s mother. The viewer learns that when Ran was 7 years old, Ran’s mother got a divorce. I thought that the flashback of Mori when he was a cop, and having to deal with a criminal who had taken Mori’s wife hostage, was a good flashback scene IMO.

I thought that the various clothing outfit’s that the characters wear in this movie, was stylish and suited every character in this movie. I also liked that Ran’s mother has a sweet tooth, as she likes Zigobo chocolates. I thought that the underwater scenes of this movie were quite good, as IMO it allows the Shinichi and Ran shippers, have a good moment in this movie. While watching this movie, I thought that this movie lacked some good music, to elevate the scenes of this movie. Overall, I thought that this movie was average at best, but I still enjoyed various elements of this movie.
