Touch: Miss Lonely Yesterday - Anime Review

As I’m a fan big fan of the Touch anime series, I’m hoping that this sequel, is IMO better than the three Touch compilation movies. This Touch movie, originally aired on December 11, 1998. This movie takes place three years after the Touch TV series events. This movie starts off with Tatsuya stopping playing baseball. Minami is currently enjoying gymnastics, and the couple is slowly drifting apart. The opening song of this movie contains a remix of the 1st anime TV series.

As I liked the Touch character Nishrimau from the Touch TV sreies, this movie shines a little bit of the spotlight on Nisihrimau. As I liked the flashbacks of when the Touch TV series showed a flashback of the trio of Tatsuya, Minami and Kazuya together as children, I was happy when I saw in this movie a scene like this. I thought that the ending of this movie was great, as it was nice to see Tatsuya and Minami kiss one another. I also thought the scene of where Tatsuya travels to America to do some tryouts with the Red Soxs, was an evil cliffhanger to end the movie on. Overall, it was great IMO to see some side characters feature in this movie, from the TV series. Overall, I can’t wait to see how the next Touch movie will play out.
