Touch: Cross Road - Anime Review

As I’m a big fan of the Touch anime series, I can’t wait to see how Tatsyau develops overseas in America. As Tatsyau isn’t the smartest person on the planet, I thought that Tatsyau is developing as a person, as he pitches for a poor struggling minor league baseball team, called the Emeralds. I thought it was sad seeing Minami quitting gymnastics, in favor of being an assistant to a professional photographer. As I’m a fan of insert songs in my anime viewings, I thought that this movie got it right when an insert song plays when the struggling Emeralds go on a winning streak, in the minor baseball leagues.

I thought that the character Alice was an interesting character, as not everything goes her way, in this movie. Despite the character Alice not getting everything going her way in this movie was sad IMO, as life isn’t easy. I liked the insert song when it was playing, to when the Emeralds win the minor league championship game. Lastly, I thought that the ending credits were great, as the Touch franchise has made me appreciate the TV series a lot. Despite IMO not really liking the three Touch compilation movies, I did enjoy this movie and Touch: Miss Lonely Yesterday movies. What I liked about this and the previous Touch movie, is that IMO it was interesting IMO to see how Minami and Tatsyau developed as adults.

Overall, the Touch TV series holds a special place for me IMO, as I’m a twin. As I’m a twin, I can relate to the three main characters, while also developing the three main leads character over a period of time.
