Evangelion @ School - Anime Review

As I’m a big Evangelion fan, I thought that I review something a bit different than normal. This 2-disk DVD set comes with a Lego-like Evangelion small toy of Eva unit 01. The Evangelion shorts on both DVD’s are mainly non-verbal episodic and contain characters from the TV series. The first DVD disk contains 9 shorts and runs approximately for 15 minutes. The second DVD contains 15 shorts and runs approximately for 54 minutes. The extras on the second disk included behind the scenes making of the CG animation and trailers. Other extras on the second DVD include, but not limited to cast interviews, ending clean sketches, music video of scenes to Eva school, Doraemon cameo appearances in Eva school.

As this DVD is a lost piece of media IMO that will never get an international release outside of Japan, I’m glad to have this item in my anime collection. Hopefully with little bit of luck, I hope that this Evangelion piece of media gets a home video release internationally, as the various Evangelion shorts are well worth any Evangelion fans time IMO.
