Mobile Suit Gundam III: Encounters in Space- Anime Review

As I have become a Gundam fan due to watching the original Gundam TV series, I thought that this movie lived up to its reputation. This movie starts at episode 31 to the end of the original Gundam tv series. This movie has Amuro meet his dad at side 6. I thought that the relationship between Amuro and his dad was interesting, as IMO Amuro’s dad is a workaholic IMO. I thought that the scene where Char and Amuro meet Lalah was interesting, as it’s when Char and Amuro are off duty. I thought that the Mirai x Cameron relationship was interesting, but I’m glad the Bright ended up with Mirai, at the end of this movie. I thought that the scene where Lalah dies, was interesting from the point of view that Char shed tears after Amuro kills Lalah in combat.

I thought that the big battle between Char and Amuro lived up to it’s reputation IMO. I thought that after Char and Amuro destroy one another’s mobile suits, they coninue to fight one another with swords, in unarmed combat. While I was watching Amuro and Char fight one another, I thought that the viewer can easily feel the intensity of their rivalry on screen. Overall, I enjoyed watching this trilogy of movies of Mobile Suit Gundam, and I can’t wait to watch next Zeta Gundam; A New Translation trilogy of Gundam films.
