Supergirl Rebirth Volume 3: Girl of No Tomorrow - Review

As I’m enjoying the Rebirth Supergirl run so far, the following entry contains spoilers of volume 3 of Supergirl Rebirth, so please kindly don’t read ahead, as it will contain spoilers. This volume of Supergirl introduces the Fatal Five, which consist of Selena, Solomon Grundy, Emerald Empress, Magog and Indigo. These five villains try their best to stop Supergirl, but she overcomes the odds.

This TPB introduces the character Director Bones, who is pulling the strings in the background. This TPB also has Kara worried about losing control of her powers, which IMO is a good dilemma to have. While Supergirl is worrying about having control of her powers, Kara is also worried about her dad, being on life support, in D.E.O headquarters. While Supergirl isn’t having an easy life, Kara travels to Shanghai to study Bagua, from I-Ching. I-Ching teachers Kara to control her powers, and even Crypto the superdog, makes a cameo appearance in this TPB.

Overall, I thought that TPB was solid. I can’t wait to see how volume 4 of Supergirl (Plain Sight), will play out, and see how Supergirl will resolve her problems, while also closing off other plot elements.
