Supergirl Rebirth Volume 1: Reign of the Cyborg Supermen TPB - Review

As I’m a fan of comic books and heard good word of mouth about the DC Super-Girl Rebirth comic books, I thought that I would kindly read and share my thoughts about this comic book run. As I have little to no experience on reading any Supergirl history and lore of this DC character, after reading all six chapters, I thought that this first volume of Supergirl was okay to solid. This comic book TPB deals with a teenage Supergirl, and deals with the challenges from her past. Supergirl is this TPB has to deal with her father and mother trying to bring back all the inhabitants, Argo City, back to life.

Supergirl also in this opening TPB volume works as a super-powered operative for the Department of Extra-Normal Operations. I thought that writer (Steve Orland), of this TPB volume told a solid story of Supergirl, in this TPB volume. I thought that the character designs of Supergirl’s father and mother look great, as they are half human, and half cyborg. I thought that the fight in issue six, between Supergirl and her father was a great fight, as I liked the fight scene of Supergirl and Supergirl’s father punching one another, while also using their heat vison, on their opponent, was an awesome scene. The back of this TPB contains variant covers, and character sketches of the cast. Overall, I enjoyed reading about Kara Zel-El in this TPB, and I also thought that this TPB volume was off to a promising start to my first experience reading a comic book about Kara Zel-El.
